October 11 At TAIE, we believe in keeping our promises—and yesterday, we delivered on an exciting one! The much-anticipated Staff vs. Student Soccer Match took place as part of a celebration for our students’ outstanding fundraising efforts for the Terry Fox Foundation. The challenge was simple: if the students surpassed last year’s fundraising total, the school would host this legendary match. And they did just that, raising an impressive $800—a record-breaking achievement! In recognition of their hard work and dedication, we organized a thrilling 90-minute game that was packed with fierce competition, high energy, and sportsmanship from both teams. The game came down to the wire, with the students narrowly claiming victory with a score of 9-8. This match wasn’t just about who won or lost—it was a celebration of the entire TAIE community’s commitment to making a difference. Beyond the game, this event honored our shared values of teamwork, leadership, and the importance of giving back. Through this fun-filled competition, our students learned not only the power of perseverance on the field, but also how their efforts can contribute to a greater cause. At TAIE, we are proud to support our students in both their academic journeys and their personal growth. Together, we continue to build a strong sense of community and a commitment to well-rounded development, whether it’s in the classroom or on the soccer field.
