Today was a truly memorable day at TAIE, filled with energy, teamwork, and meaningful experiences. We began the morning with the annual Terry Fox Run, an event that brings our students together in celebration of courage, perseverance, and the power of community.

Students participated enthusiastically, supporting one another as they ran, walked, or cheered along the route. The event not only honors Terry Fox’s legacy but also reinforces the values of determination and collective effort that we hold dear at TAIE.

The excitement continued into the afternoon with a lively fundraising event. Our students showcased their baking skills with a variety of homemade treats, including cheesecake, tiramisu, and chocolate bark. In addition to the desserts, there were snacks, drinks, and a raffle, all designed to engage participants and raise funds for a meaningful cause. Through this hands-on activity, students were able to develop teamwork, creativity, and a sense of responsibility while contributing to the community.

Events like today are exactly what make TAIE special. Our students don’t just gain knowledge in the classroom—they grow through experiences that encourage exploration, collaboration, and giving back. From running together to preparing and presenting their homemade creations, students were able to see the tangible impact of their efforts. It is this combination of learning, personal growth, and community involvement that defines the TAIE experience, helping students build both skills and character that will serve them well in all aspects of life.
